AFA 2009 updates!

My friends from splifearts.com has updates from AFA 2009 to share!

First up, as I have mentioned in my events page earlier, there are already 4 singers for the 'I Love Anisong' concert. But our friends from AFA committee had something up their sleeves.

Introducing the 5th performer,

None other than Hatsune Miku! ! !

For the first time, she will be performing here in Singapore! Expect something special from the much loved vocaloid!

Regarding the concert also, this time round, there will be a 4 metre wall erected, separating the concert hall from the main exhibition hall. This setup will promise a better sounds for this anisong concert.

Also, K-On fans, wished to see the wonderful seiyus for Mio, Yui, Mugi and Ritsu 'Live' here in Singapore? Wait no further! They will be making a appearance in this year's AFA09 and the ladies will also be doing a live dubbing from a scene in the show here!

Pricing of the 'I Love Anisong' concerts.

For those who wished to enjoy the FULL package of hearing 5 singers for this mega event, the ticket will be at S$188 each.

What does this $188 ticket fetch you:

2 day entry pass to the AFA halls,

Also, there is a S$108 pass for sale. But this is for 1 day use only, you can use it either on the 21st or 22nd.

The story is simple, ever since getting a 24" in the light of shifting my main PC usage for photos editing and viewing of HD videos, I have also targeted a new speakers to replace my trusty Altec Lansing 4.1 of 5 years. Thanks to some 'unexpected' expenses in the recent months, my original target of Creative G500 became the Logitech G51 eventually. But to be honest, the G51 DOES a superb job of producing solid sounds and music. Furthermore, with the X-Fi 5.1 card attached, WOW! Crisp and crystal clear. Playing "射手座☆午後九時Don't be late (Sheryl On Stage)" is almost similar to hear May'n singing live again. Now only if I can add in the X-Fi Titanium card. . .

Get ready for a wall of photos, chiu hash been warned. . .

1 year ago, on this very day, I became a proud owner of a Sony A200! My very first DSLR! And hence, it marked the start of a unforgettable, enjoyable journey so far.

What originally supposed to be a simple tool for taking images of my toys slowly evolved into a strong interest in going deeper into this field.

Well, guess people will ask why Sony?

Simple, given their ease of use from their Cybershot era, moving on to handle the A200 wasn't that much of a issue. I do remember the 'discouragement' given to me while I was deciding on the A200, EOS 450D and D60 then. But frankly, tell you what, the user UN-friendly Cs & Ns camera bodies don't really help my cause, plus I did done my homework already. Still very well on course for the A200.

And bang! On last year's April Fool, I finally got myself a A200 of my own!

Finally managed to post this up. Well originally wanted to post this during the IT Show period, but too tired to post. XD

First time doing a show as vendor, well shoulders' getting heavier as compared to being a promoter previously. I probably clocked more hours during the 4 days there than anyone else in the same booth. Came there early for setup, by the time done, hardly time left to walk around. During the show time, most of the questions that promoters can't answer to customers were directed to me. Even stock levels also ask me.

Hahaha, at least the sales was one of the highest we have done in a show so far. Well, it raised the thoughts of 'Recession? What recession?'

Also, managed to say 'hello' to a certain 'blur queen' from _____.
And got her a venti mango passionfruit + cheesecake from Starbucks as well. . .

And 1 thing I don't like about doing shows, my body condition. Sore throat came out of nowhere on Monday morning and it has been a sore literally till it came down yesterday. But along with it, fatigue plus a serious bout of flu that has been making me lethargic for the week so far. Well, watching early morning Arsenal games does not help my cause either.

Been quite a while since I felt sooo bad. Its Friday, and my nose still acts up once in a while, thank God boss gave me off for today. Time for rest and catching up with SPLA? Who knows. . .

IT Show 2009.

The first main trade show for the year is finally here! Later will have to finalize the setup with the promoters and starts the first day of sales.

OT, been up since 3 plus to watch Arsenal's game, and what a nervy game it was, concede a stupid goal in the 9th minute and watched them toiled through the whole game without scoring the goal that would put them in the next round within 90 minutes. But they chose the harder way, winning 7-6 on penalties. Grr, long time since I sit through a shoot out from 12 yards. I shouted *peep when Edurado missed his kick. But the next 7 takers were so icy cool and calm with their spotkicks and when the final kick was skied by the poor Roma player, finally can stop the nervy moments.

Back with another post. With last Sunday's shoot over, I have effectively putting on hold any shoots for this month, reasons being IT Show closing in and time to work on my assignment. With a 2000 word count assignment to work on, think better to spend time doing research than out snapping away, though I will rather do the latter in any given day.

Last week has been so good so far for my beloved and hated Gunners. Their flip flop performances had me vomiting blood more often than not. But somehow, a Arsenal 11 with Edurado seemed to spark confidence throughout the team. Thank God that he managed to recover from that x-rated tackle 1 year ago. Now, lets see the red and whites from North London reclaim the last CL spot and show whose more suited to play in Europe's elite competition.

Monday soon to be over, and within 3 days, the first show for 2009 will start. Given the current situation, will we see the same spending mindset as the previous shows in 2008 or the current times will have their minds hesitating when it comes to opening up the wallets? Hope that even if the crowd is going to cut down spending, at least it does not affect much.

My bad habit, 3rd cup for the day already, though I tried my best to cut it down.

Preparing for IT Show 2009, getting the slips ready for the hordes of customers starting on Thursday.

Yup, time to get back to work. Another bad habit at times, bringing home work though its supposed to be done within the '9-6' time frame. Ohh well. . .

Most expensive coffee ever. . .

Filling in the little gap from the previous post. As you guys can see from the photos posted by me in the past week or so, thats a rough idea of what have I been doing then.

Well well, last Saturday was quite a day, getting up early for another shoot, then joining the SPLA guys for a session of high tea @ Good Wood Hotel.

Thats the drink I ordered throughout the 3 hours plus there, the Cafe Chocolate. I have a weak spot for coffee and chocolate, so when I saw this in the menu, thats it. "Have I have the Cafe Chocolate? Thanks".

The bill also covers the food served buffet style, didn't take much photos, only got 1 photo of the food to share.

Now, the bill. Round up after adding in the usual +10% and +7%. It cost $38 per pax. Yes, hence it earns the title of 'Most expensive coffee' ever.

Putting the cost aside, at least had a good time with the guys given that its their first weekend after exams. For Shane, probably the last time seeing him before he got his green 11B. Goes the same for Jeffery as well, but his is a Taiwan 11B instead of a Singapore 11B. Yup, he got called back to serve after his studies is done here. Speaking of which, time do fly, it was like 3 years back when he first appeared in SPLA along with Darren, Ben, Wen Bin and others. And now they are more or less grads to be from SP.

Next up, Sunshine Plaza, er, change it to KKnM to be exact. :P

Well, Sharon moved in to the new unit already, but not yet officially opened. But the usual crowds was there, probably waiting for the result of the C75 Cospa exclusive bag lucky draw. Realized that must cut down orders from there, if not boh rui for . . .

Fill in the blanks yourself, and happy guessing where the funds from my anime spending goes to now. . .

4 months into the job now, still getting the usual hiccups, probably due to the fact that I'm a newbie in this trade. Given my lack of experience in this field, getting 'eaten' up is not that entirely unusual, its just how I avoid the 'jaws' from my disti and retailers. Its a dog eat dog world there, politics going around everywhere. That is the harsh reality check. Time to get sober, can't be the boh chup guy 5 years back where I started to get myself in the mess back then.

Time check, 1240. Time to sleep. Up in 6 hours for another day's of work.

My laziness to write out is really putting my blog to a standstill. Basically what have I been doing ever since AFA 2008?

SPLA @ AFA 08.

Basically just a few weeks after AFA 08, I will be getting back my pink IC finally! Also, got a perm job with Blumm, the local trade rep for Buffalo. And to make my post ORD days even better, attended the last EOY held in Expo.

With that, concludes the end of EOY 08. And also my first weekend as a civilian finally! Straight after, work resumes, the weekly tasks of stock check, orders taking. Quite monotonous, ohh well, I do need to eat after all. Christmas approaches and the very stupid thing is, the first Christmas after ORD is spent on Courts Roadshow. Since its work, can't do much about it. But at least, during the days at the roadshow, got a 'air-head' in the form of a cute WD promoter to disturb. XD

Christmas over, and very next day, the usual SPLA X'mas and New Year gathering. The guys are still pretty much the same, gift exchange was done with added twist. In the end, my collection of a Maria mug, Nagi mug and Kud mini cushion went to Jeffery (Lucky guy!).

2008 came and went, and what a year it was. Got my very own dslr in the form on my A200, made lots and lots of friends from various backgrounds with the common interest of photography. Started out on my journey of photography since then.

Of course, the rest I shall not elaborate further, regular visitors of this site will know what have I been doing with my camera gear.

2009 came amid the global financial crisis that had everyone worrying the outlook for the coming new year. Possibly being a working adult now does makes me concerned in regards to this situation, need to be to cool headed now, no more of the hot headed ways I have been in the past. The Chinese New Year finally arrived, but strangely, I felt there the usual festive mood is not there, perhaps the current economic situation is playing a big part here?

But celebrations is still celebrations after all! The usual house visitings, and in the meanwhile, got pressed by my cousin why still no girlfriend!! =.="

Anyway, for once in years, a group of us met up and made a visit to our form teacher from secondary school!

Spent a few hours there, catch up on the times after we left Deyi, and well seems like good old times.

The short CNY holidays ended, but it was few days away from another weekend of visits. SPLA did a series of visiting from Nick's place, to mine and finally Shane. My cache of stuff was quite leeched by them, after I did told them to bring harddrives along to free leech. Hah!

Last stop, Shane's place, practically quite standard, PS3 for some, chit chat for some. Food came and lastly, louhei! "All hail Leopard!!!" as quoted by Shawn. . .

Next up, visiting Mrs Fong with the very very senior librarians and library gang of 2003.

What a lengthy post so far, yes, when I post, confirmed it will be a LONG post. What to do? Given my habit of not writing regularly. February came, and of course its just another month in the year to get by. And I suppose some of you will smell sour grapes coming from me, the 'dreaded V' word was very quiet day, just played some game for lolx.

So siao on with shoots last weekend that I ended up bringing home around 300+ photos back to review and process. So far the photos from shoot in day 1 is more or less done up, now left with the 190+ photos from day 2 to be reviewed and processed. Increasingly sleep deprived me will still remain sleep deprived for now. . .

Anime Festival Asia 2008 after thoughts part 1.

Finally its over! The very first anime based event in Singapore, Anime Festival Asia 2008 came to an end on Sunday evening at Suntec Exhibition Hall. On the organisers part, the 2 years spent on planning this event paid off. What a crowd it was on both days. The performances of Ichirou Mizuki ala Aniki and May'n were simply amazing. Can we have them coming to Singapore to perform again? Never had I been so fired up and hot in a concert. May'n live in front of my eyes, hontoni sugoii!

Also, Aniki was really the legend in Ani-songs, Marzinger Z to Captain Harlock, he brought out the garness in my friends who were big fans of old school super robot shows. His actions portrayed what a good aniki (brother) would do. Aniki took a group photo with the fans that welcomed him in the airport. Also, for the signing session, he signed on the personal items brought up by the fans, shook hands and took photos. Nicholas, Calvin and Chin How, do cherish the moment upstage with the man himself. Darren, your Aspire umpc, find a way to preserve the autograph.

Sadly, for reasons unknown the autograph session with May'n was very disappointing to a great extent in my view. What was done on stage was very unprofessional and disrespect to the fans that paid a premium sum for that moments with May'n up close. Her autograph was signed beforehand on a board was bad enough already, to make things worse, it was her representative that passed the board to the fans that came up. Not May'n herself. Yes, it was really nice to shake her hands and exchanged some words, but the way they did it was totally wrong. Yes, I'm really voicing it out. Surely there are many many disgruntled fans out there that felt the same. No autograph on my personal item, no photo with her to keep. Boo, very very negative fan bonding session. Well, I did managed to give a card to her, my time spent running around Suntec, Marina Square and Citylink for a giant 'Thank You' card paid off. Well wishes from splifearts.com, Nakadashi, Bonkuratsu, CDS and KKnM were in it and hopes she like it.

AFA 2008 Announcement.

As you can see from the photo above, this post will be regarding the announcement for Anime Festival Asia 2008. For starters, this event will be a first in South East Asia, celebrating the diversity of the Japanese culture. For this year's showcase, it will be held at Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Center Halls 403 & 404. Dates are 22 & 23 of November with the doors open to public visitors at 10am.

The whole event will be divided into different sections, like the manga showcase where Shounen Jump will be displaying their works as part of their 40th anniversary celebrations. Anticipated titles includes Death Note, Bleach just to name a few. Also there will be mangaka competitions and visitors can views the works as well.

Next up will be the anime blockbuster. What's a anime festival without the main course? The anime! Currently titles confirmed are Shakugan no Shana, Code Geass, Skip Beat. There will be more titles as the organisers are working out the details.

Other than manga, anime, part of the modern Japanese Otaku culture also includes the plastic modeling (Plamo in short). This year's Bakuc will be held together with AFA and guess what? Kunio Okawara will be gracing AFA as well, expect some tips and hints for the local modelers from the master himself! Before I forget, Okawara-san will be part of the judging team for the Bakuc finals!

For the merchandise collectors, don't worry. There is the Akiba section whereby big names like Goodsmile Company, Alter, Revoltech, Kotobukiya, of course Bandai will be showcasing and selling various collectibles and goodies. Local shops like KKnM and RapidCulture will also be there, so get ready your wallets!

Cosplayers, you are more than welcome for this big event! Register early and you will get free admission! Also, there is a competiton as well.

Last but not least, the big news that we all are waiting for. . .

Nope, Megumi Nakajima aka Ranka Lee WILL NOT be making her way down to AFA. Instead, *drum rolls. May'n, the singing voice behind Sheryl Nome of hit anime series, Macross Frontier will be here for AFA 2008!

No rewards for guessing what May'n will be singing in AFA 08, also she will be having meet the fans session and autographs session. Fans, get ready your single CDs!

Finally back here to post again. What happened in between the weeks from the last post? Nothing but more and more shoots. So far already went for 3 TFCDs, and though still in the learning curve, but I'm enjoying every single second of these shoots. From each shoot that I been to, always there are new things to learn. Be it camera settings, model posing, somehow its a brand new experience to me. With September to come, there are more shoots to come, new things to learn.

Last Saturday was the 1st birthday of the Alpha mount user group in here in Singapore. Despite the very spoiler of a weather, but everyone still enjoyed the celebration. From photo hunt, cake-cutting, special talk by Stanley from SLCC on flash photography and also Wilson from Sony for 'helping' to further poison us by letting alphadslr.com members to have first hand try on the new flagship flash. Yes, I mean it, where's the MO for the flash?

With Comex approaching, gearing up to push for sales during the 4 days for Buffalo. Yes, looking for external storage or network solutions, do approach me in any of the 4 days and I will do my best to provide with the best solution possible within my means.

Already starting of August 2008, time really flies. What a week so far, started with Garden Festival on last Sunday, went back there again for my first TFCD in the same venue with 2 gorgeous ladies. Then concluded by a ride on the Singapore Flyer on Saturday night courtesy of bro Tan KM. Not to mention the number of photos also piled up as well, still haven't done with the TFCD photos, while just finished the shots taken on Saturday night. With NDP coming soon, gonna find someone to cover my NDP weekend shift and enjoy the 2 days snapping all day long. . .

Long long long gap since my last post. Its like nearly half a year since I posted. Anyway, in between that long gap, I managed to get myself the Sony Alpha 200 as my first DSLR. Quite amazing I got to say, its like only 4 months since I got myself a decent camera before I finally got the Alpha. From my initial plan of getting the K850i till the ownership of the A200. Wow.

Since then, I have been to a couple of outings with my fellow Alpha brothers from Alphadslr forums
and from them picked up tips, tricks of course, enjoyable hours of photography with them. Firstly was the Formula Drift Singapore, and what a hot event it was. And I do mean hot, went home sun burnt but at least met up with most of the brothers from the Alphadslr. Though did not stay till the end of the event, but the time spent there was already worth while. Some pictures taken during the event.

Since then been going around randomly taking photos during off days. Also learnt how to post process the photos in Photoshop and much later on, Lightroom.

For the first time, I tried something different for this CNY countdown Instead of staying put @ home, I went down to Marina for the fireworks display. Goodness me, surrounding me was not the usual masses of avid shutter-bugs with their DSLRs, instead it was hordes of foreign workers, mostly from China. Goodness me, either they ARE dumb or loose screws, messing around even though they are just 1 mis-step away from dropping into the dark waters beneath. And of course, so the 'considerate' to those shutter-bugs by moving around like monkeys, blocking the views or even coming down to knocking down the tripods. Damned, I know that being the CNY, I shouldn't be saying all these, but ZzZ, I can't keep it shut, so just vent it out here. . .anyway, still manage to grab quite a couple of shots during the display. Yes, I DO really need a DSLR, though my T20 is doing fine this early morning, but the difference is quite obvious la, since the T20 is just a point & shoot as compared to the complex DSLR. Also taken some night shots of the surroundings before the display began. . .

Before I went to Chinatown last Friday, earlier on I did my own CNY shopping @ Nike store. Since I got a $50 voucher, why not use that on a new pair of shoes/boots? Got there, not much of a selection against shops from Queensway or Peninsula. Anyway found this pair of indoor boots quite interesting, and that's it, asked for a UK size 10.5 and got it. And yes, it is very attention grabbing. . .

And after getting the boots, next stop was KKnM @ Sunshine Plaza. Bumped to Gordon and talked a little on Sony's new DSLRs and went off buying Shana items plus a Lucky Star figures set.

There is a 6th figure, and that is Akira. But I DON'T like her, so no point getting it @ extra cost, the current set will do fine sitting on top of my sub-woofer.

Overall, the past weekend was fine, did shopping, work plus finally get to see Arsenal playing 'live' on cable. 1 more duty tonight and I'm off from ambulance duties till next Monday! Yay, a little break for the moment. For this coming CNY, me and my brother did a little tidying up today. Spent like 4 hours clearing stuff or junk that occupied precious space in the house. What's left to tidy up is probably my workstation and my cabinet. My PVCs and Gundams needs some dusting just before CNY.

This CNY will be my first time spending the countdown outside as I will be heading down to take fireworks @ Marina. Yes, despite having a T20 only, but hey, it does a pretty good job of taking fireworks. With around 6 minutes worth of display, its gonna be a feast for the eyes and for my T20. Going there alone or with some friends doesn't really matter for now, main thing is to get some hands on snapping fireworks pictures.

CNY is nearing, just days away in fact. Though the hype for it isn't that great now, at least its a long break worth looking forward to. Also pondering whether should I work on the weekend @ Challenger as it promises a higher income than the angbaos as I pursuit my DSLR set. Still got Tuesday to decide, let me think.

Meanwhile, went down to Chinatown last Friday to get some clothes and took some photos at the same time. And yes, I DO REALLY WANT A FREAKING DSLR! ! !

Times just simply flew fly, and already January has passed by in 2008. Already 21 years of age, still single (lolx), broke at times, bored. Ohh well. At least for this year, there are some things to look out for, ORD LO! ! ! Yes, I will be done and over with NS in December and kiss goodbye to the stupid 11B of mine. No more OC and CSM! ! ! Yah, lolx. . .

With ORD coming soon, also other things to think of would be what's next for me? Work will be a must, but with my current on-going but slow progress of my studies, I wonder what options I have. Being nearly 2 years with Blumm and Buffalo makes me wonder does my future lies there or elsewhere in the similar trade. It's February at the moment, so I got nearly 10 months for me to ponder my next but very important step in my life.

Back finally to post. Well, cant think of anything to do while waiting for time to pass by before heading off to supper. As the clock ticks towards 12/09/2007, it simply just means my 12 day leave from ambulance duty is finally over. Hopefully I can still remember what I have to do while on call. All these days of anime, gaming, selling of Buffalo products had not better override my medic skills.

Talking about work, well, been thinking of whether should I proceed to register my own company and ask my bosses for the products that I should go for. To me, main focus is still bringing up Buffalo's name here before doing other items like laptops. Did quite a number of resells, but still mainly small items like routers, no margin to me after deducting away the transport. Aiming to finish my first TeraStation deal as a reseller. Well, still got time for me to think through and decide what it best for me. Afterall, I am a damned 'PHD'.

1 year of being a Buffalo promoter already, yet I still observe the same old nonsense from the general public. "Buffalo?!" "Singapore brand?!" "From where?!" Please, spare me from these, maybe I am the one under false impression; however, after 1 years of selling these products, I expected much better responses from the general public, but the reality is the opposite. Very dishearting. But good news is that increasing number of Linksys users are getting pissed with their wireless, even though they got the 'supposedly' superior routers. Pui, please, you noobs got cheated. Their 'fantastic' hardware and firmware are so infamous, connect a Starhub modem and yay, disconnection for your wireless. And for the Network-Attached Storage or NAS in short no thanks to Maxt0r, D-Link and again, Linksys for their duo bay NAS. Cheapo customers jumping to buy those instead of the quad bay TeraStations. Duo bay NAS its cheap, yes, it does network sharing of storage, but what's the point of using RAID 1 and waste your storage space? Idiots man, wasted my breath on those noobs whenever they asked if Buffalo does duo bays. Even I myself will consider a Tera over those duo bay NAS nonsense. ZzZ, cold hard reality hit me hard arent it? No point grumbling over these, but at least letting these out of my mind makes me feels more at least and you readers can help me by giving comments on them if you know what I am talking about.

Had SPLA's tanghoon festival 2007 last Sunday, but not as lively as last year's. Some of the usual faces wasn't around, but at least some of the year 1s came.

If you readers are wondering why 'Tanghoon Festival', well, its like this "Last September, there was an bbq/steamboat dinner and Shaun's place to celebrate the birthdays of August and September babies then. Somehow, we didn't attacked the bbq food that much, instead we went hard on the steamboat, finishing packets and packets of tanghoon in the process. And if I am not mistaken, even someone went to buy more tanghoon! Lolx, and there was this quote going around 'I paid $10 for tanghoon!"

Fews day since my last post. Maybe will do more frequent updates in the future. Ohh well, been doing practically nothing useful save for slacking through my off days. Catching up with Initial D anime, playing through FM 2007. Lazy to finish up the MG Zeta which only left with the legs and weapons left to do. ZzZ, it's like upon waking up, I need to think about what to do for the day. ZzZ, sianz.

Spent hours doing some picture work. Ever since with this new lappy mine, things got a little hard to do as Vista is the OS running. And my good old k800i couldn't link with it will recently when Sony Ericsson finally released the software for Vista. Yeah, long due man. Got it up and running, dumped all the pictures onto my lappy and uploaded them. With the upcoming k850i, time for more shutter clicking moments.

As of Monday, I owns 2 Sony Ericsson phones after trading my O2 Stealth for P990i. The Stealth is a easy to use phone with good functions. But at times, the buggy Windows Mobile OS had irritating problems like this voice tag program that wouldn't close and forces phone calls without me knowing. Basket. And when I decided to trade it off, I absolutely got no idea how to freaking back up the new contacts I saved. In the end, went off to 6range @ AMK Hub and got the p990i. Surprisingly for a handphone shop, its managed by ladies when I was there. And they looked quite pretty, heh, wondered did the staff tended my sale tried to 'charm' me into buying the extra items which I find it pointless. Hah, please, I know my phones and stuff, if not, I wouldn't have got there to get the p990i. Other than the phone, I got 2gb of MS and screen protector as well. Got back home, time to transfer contacts and boy it was only today that I managed to finish the contact list for my new phone.

Also on Monday, I went on a high with Initial D 4 @ Zone X. I think the $20 I put in was gone after an hour of driving. Got the Evo IV and tried it out. After the first round with the car, I already had plans for making it as my first choice already. Cleared Akina Lake in LOTS and in the race against the 2 Tokyo gays, I beat the time record in that machine for Akina Lake. But sadly, I think it wouldn't be recorded since it was done in LOTS instead of TA. Damned. Went a few rounds in Myogi and OUCH! Whenever I reached this 'S' curve, my Evo simply went crazy. My time was like 10 seconds late than the record time. Aww, think gotta refine on my techniques. Before I could think of improving. Stop it for now, cost for a game is high. Not worth throwing money like that. Anyway, as I quit, the game brought me to car shop and after looking through the options, I bought Bozz Muffler. Hopefully it does charms as it did in V3.

Yesterday, went for my first IPPT after posted to AMK FS. Strangely, I am able to get past the static stations with no problem but the 2.4 run which was used to be my easy item, I stumbled. Dunno why I can't emulate my timings in BRTC, factors like fatigue, track conditions, lack of training comes in. Dang, ended up with both thighs suffering tightness now. Basketcase.

Done with another shift. Surprisingly, for Sunday, its freaking quiet. Only went for 1 call and that's it! Lolx, easiest day so far. And yesterday, finally tended my first RTA trapped case. Suppose you guys know the accident at Lentor Road that blocked out 3 lanes coming to AMK. Yah, my alpha went for that and goodness me, first sight of accident scene gave me a shock. The vehicles involved were a bus, truck and 2 cars. I thought 'siao liao, mass casualty'. But thankfully, when we got off to the scene, the passengers were unscathed, phew. That leaves the trapped persons in the truck. And after 15 minutes, both got extricated out and sent to TTSH. Thank God no serious injuries to all casualties. At least had an experienced of tending to a RTA trapped case after 4 months into station medic.

And thanks to this month's schedule of weekends working day, ZzZ. Damned wasted. I will have used the day for better uses. Ohh well, since its NS, just stick with it.

Finally end of yet another shift. Been working in night duties before this day shift, found out the hard way that waking up early is pain. Ohh well, at least these 2 days not that busy probably due to fact that its nearing the weekend.

Tried the new Initial D game. Full marks for the new design of the machine, but the game content suk big time. Lesser cars is acceptable, but now the courses available is just 6?! Ohh well, got a new card, sadly, data in the V3 cards are non-transferable, and there goes the work done in V2 and V3. Being a Evo fan, naturally I got an Evo IX. Is it me or what, it seems the game applies new physics. Speed will now drop upon turning and yeah, drops. My Evo IX gear 6 cant be sustained for long. ZzZ, and of course, with the high cost of per game, for mean time, not trying to spend so much time on it.

Guess what? Finally I got the deal I wanted ever since building gundam kits. Item: PG Zeta Gundam. Original retail cost: minimum of S$300++. Price I bought: S$265.

WOW.

Before I can finally start work on it, let me finish up the 2 MG Zetas in my home first. And I think the PG gonna take me time before displaying in its full glory.

Finally ended my 2 days of ambulance duty. Frankly, the people around my station area has become very less trigger happy with 995 these days. Hardly hit 4 calls for past 2 shifts. Good in the sense that finally a breather in a while. Been through those days with 6 calls per day and it was tiring despite no collapse cases. Ohh well, wait a couple of weeks more and 103 MOC passed out. Yeah, finally got juniors to use liao. . .

And dunno what's with my BT nowadays. Azureus detected udp port having too many failures. Received failed. Basketcase, I don't pay $80 per month just to get this shit when using BT. Got to check it out with BK whether is it modem or router fault. ZzZ. . .

Yosh! Finally did the long due maintenance for my blog here. Well, its freaking nearly a year since I last posted man. To reward the new visitors to my humble blog, I will sum up the events I had from the time I last posted till now.

July --> Started work as Buffalo promoter. Initial start was very rocky, but still kept the job. Went for medical for enlistment.

August --> Started promoter @ Southasia, Funan. Had bad times, but somehow the enviroment there suits me. Also, began to start my monthly habit of collecting anime magazines.

September --> Participated in my first IT show. Interesting 4 days, seen practically all sorts of people seeking cheapos at the show. Duh. Been working like mad as well. Weekdays spent @ Seoul Garden, weekends spent @ Funan. Money go where? Gundams, anime goods, magazines. And ohh yah, I spent S$200 on my Arsenal shirt that came from London. Wow.

October --> Got the dreaded 'green bomb' aka enlistment letter. Wow, it stated Jalan Bahar, not Tekong. Simply, I going SCDF, not SAF. Ohh well, began plans for enlistment. Spendings also skyhigh with the purchase of my new K800i phone. Finally a phone truly called mine. Ohh yah, my Japanese boss gave the whole team a 40gb Ministation each. Sweet.

November --> No thanks to my sister who blew up her phone bills. Parents had to settle hers instead of my broadband. No net for freaking nearly a month. Especially when I had already resigned from Seoul Garden. Spent time rushing through anime, only for weekends to work @ Funan. And finally completed the entry requirement for KKnM membership. What's the requirement? Simple. Spend $900. Yes, I did it within 4 months. Don't ask me how, but I still managed to get it. Sales are going up at my promoter side. Wasted I needa enlist. . .

December--> Last IT show before enlistment. Had my best sales @ Funan as well. Shelf was empty after 2 days. And topped all 4 days during the show. Closed an bill worth $3250 on Sunday. The biggest for us at that show. Back to reality. Enlistment. Thank God my intake had the most holidays, rainy days to start with, being in SCDF also means no 2 weeks confinement! Woo! Went to EOY cosplay event @ first bookout! Haha.

January--> Platoon had reshuffle after ERS and firefighter trainees got posted to CDA. Our of nothing, became bunk IC. Stupid crap. Anyway, just weeks to POP, heck and endure it.

Febuary--> Closing on POP + CNY. Got new furniture to house my 'babies'. After POP, posted to MOC. Medical Orderly Course.

March--> Training on MOC underway. Wanted instructor post. Tried to be as 'On' as possible. Had rough time with some trainees there, guess his thinking and mine clashes big time.

April--> MOC POP. Sad, posted to AMKFS. Tried to swap with another trainee, but in the end back to square one. Back to AMKFS.

May--> Had a torrid day on duty. Most busiest so far. Went home @ 9 plus in the night. An hour plus later than usual.

June--> Finally booked leave for SPLA camp. Had recall on second day, but overall still managed to chill for once. Chionging GE like siao as well. Caught Initial D as well.

Yup, thats what I can summed up so far. Nothing that very interesting, unless I go further details to the ambulance calls I attended. Well, comments, just post it up in the cbox there. Arigatou!

Amazing, err, 1 month since last post? Well, lack of posting ain't gonna affect me. Basically, now its time to enjoy my freedom before enlisting. Went for checkup last week and got Pes B class. Very nice man, freak. Even my asthma history dont deter them from giving me a C or below. Time to prepare for rough 2 years. Meanwhile, as usual, work + SPLA life is the normal till they call me in. Now realized what I have been missing out all this while. Random aimless walk down Orchard, or the LMAO time after meals or during bus trips with SPLA people. Finally tasted Swesens'. Lolx, we got Kirk to gave us a treat after being held back for 2 hours a few weeks during Jasper's birthday bash. Anyway, even the first round of Topless 5 wasn't enough for us. We even ordered 2 Earthquakes after that. Midnight supper of Swesens' ice cream. Yeah. . .

Now weekends are spent on promoting Buffalo's line of networking products. Almost couldn't start work previous week back due to my shirt. Anyway, they gave a white polo FOC for me to wear during my 5 hours there, ohh well. Oh yah, S-C-R-E-W/ F-A-R-K Linksys products. They S-U-K and nothing but OVERPRICED pieces of plastic and circuits. Damned, seriously hated those fanwhores of Linksys, especially after subscribing Maxonline. So what they tell to buy Linksys? Can't you tell Starhub is in it with Linksys? Remember, if you visitors here intending to buy networking products like routers, please strike Linksys out of your shortlist. Pre-N and SRX are nothing but junk compared to Buffalo's High Power routers.

Well, I intended to leave my outlet for greener pastures, but the circumstances wouldn't allow, ohh well. Anyway, just gonna do my job and get my pay. No need to waste extra efforts on these retards. I wondered how the F*** they ever landed the job.

Hmm, my Zeta A1 finally got primed, but its only the beginning, well, need to get time good time off to do up the kit. What colour am I gonna paint it? Shh. Himitsu! Need to see my finances for the next few months before getting equipment for airbrushing. As for manga, well, IF I ever STOP playing games, well. Lolx. . .

Back again, well, trying to reduce the gaps between post days. Its not that I dont wanna post, lolx, its been like long since I blogged daily. Oh well, anyway. . .

Had the SP Lifearts S.O.S 団 camp 2 weekends back. Woo, feels soooooo good to spend whole day having nothing but fun non-stop. I wondered when was the last time I had that. Thinking of getting the MCs to write up more proposals for overnight stays. . .hahaha, be it anime-marathon or whatever it is, just whack in the proposals. . .

Few weeks back, my working hours were like on the peak, but fast forward to my schedule now, its a fark-ed up. Working nights shift mostly, with the exception of a day of full shift where I took over buffet. Well, since I was given this fark-ed schedule, its my pleasure to return the honours. Anything not done by the afternoon shift, either I make hell of a noise out of it or I just leave it as it is and wait for trouble to happen, dump the blame on the afternoon shift. Period. Why my sudden outburst of heck it mind? Simple, since the new staff are so 'grown' in their job now, they 'know' what is needed, so, why the fark I need to go after every single one for their task? And anyway, I decided for a venture into greener pastures. Once I got confirmation, 2 weeks notice given out, and I am clear of that outlet for good. Oh, I just went under kitchen training. Hmm, trying to let me learn more or a ploy to keep me in, well, mind is set, chance comes in, gonna grab it hard with both hands and get out for good. . .

World Cup's here, hmm funny feeling, didn't get very hyped up this time, just take it as per normal, wonder is it the effects of slogging that numbed my passion for the things I like. . .

Nice, 2 months plus without updates here. Guess gotta clean up the cyber cobwebs and dust accumulated while my absence here. Anyway, if ya guys wanna guess how am I doing now, well let me use some indirect ways to tell ya people. Needa be 'football-smart' here. Hahaha.

2 yellow cards = 1 red card. Referee is SP, offences are 'bad' tackles on maths. Get that? ? ?

Anyway, while my SPLA peeps are dozing in lectures and all that, I got myself stuck in outlet, churning out long hours, in fact, spent the last week clocking 52.5 hours worth of work. My colleague even joked, "Kenneth working full, full full and full, saving up for wedding ar?" My reaction was -____________________-. Duh, my pay, most of the time, feeding my 'anime stomach' which 'eats' well, anime merchandise. If ya guessing what did I bought well, errrrrr, pencil boards, mouse pads, t-shirts, cellphone straps, mugs. Of course my 'main course' would be my Gundam kits. Currently, I got 9 MG kits, 3 HG kits and 3 no grade kits. Of course all are in 1/100 scale. No more no less. My collection includes the Gundam team from ZZ Gundam, the different variations of Gundam X and some CE kits like Freedom and Justice. Now need some free time to finish up my Zeta C1, Zeta A1 and Freedom. Thinking of getting another Freedom which will be painted in SPLA colours of red, white and black.

Then recently, just got my own PSP set! ! ! Its white, stylish, cool and multipurpose! ! ! Why? ? ? Simple, PSP can play videos, music, games and surf the web! ! ! Muahaha. . .think that my Neeon maybe biting dust soon. . .arhh, continue the post from my PSP. . .

Updates. . .er well, 2nd week into my vacation, still usual stuff, work, work and work. . .so far, haven't been in much good of a mood for work, probably due to the introduction of a shift leader soon? ZzZ. . .hadn't had such a bad working week so far. . .well, lazy to change job, and how can I leave the place thats been part of me since December 03? ? ?

Out from work, next week, finally stepping back into campus for the enrolment week. Since I am in-charge for it, well, planning a highly attractive and unforgettable sight for the new students gonna be a good challenge. Always have this half-hearted attitude whenever I am organising events. The flopped 406 chalet, overnight session, ZzZ. . .but that have to and gotta go. . .no more half-A$$ jobs from me now. . .setting the record straight, and damned you devil, get out of my life for good. . .

Anyway, regarding the booth, doing for SP Lifearts. Yes, you got me, SP Lifearts, SP Astro janai. . .heh, took me 2 years to realise where my interest really lies and to me Gunpla, manga drawing, artbook collection are more easily to get attracted to than Milky Way now. . .Gomenasai, demo, I will be channelling my focus and energies into sharpening my drawing and Gunpla abilities. . .Hontoni gomenasai. . .

Why up at this hour, heh, Friday is now officially my cellgroup day and since Saturday is my service day, so I have 2 continous off days. . .well, it allows me to catch up with the stacks of anime lying in my cakebox, spent hours catching up with Shakugan no Shana last Friday, and earlier on, finished Gunparade March. . .Haha, simply love these action-packed with comedy out of shy reactions between the male and female leads. . .

School's started, well, after 4 weeks of vacation, or rather 'workcation' for that matter, seems as normal to me, though figuring how to pass all modules with some good results. . .still hunting for my first 'A'. . .and guess what? My timetable is bit of a. . .er. . .Wednesdays off @ 1000, Fridays are the best, I only come for alternate weeks. . .muahahaha. . .more working hours, slack time! ! ! Finally realised that its time for updates here. . .

Well, so far, things aren't that smoothing sailing as I want it to be. . .short sleeping hours thanks to 0800 classes from Monday to Thursday. . .cocked up time-table I would say, though I had to shoulder partly of the blame for why I had it. . .but damned, its simply tiring given that I had 4 workings days along with school, church and other stuff. . .though I may have quite an amount of cash. . .but in the end of the day, what do I had to trade off for? ? ? Football? Friends? Damned. . .and I wondered when was the last time I had outing with friends. . .damned. . .and with these longer hours clocked at work, surely, conflicts sure to rise. . .clashes with church activity or astro activity. . .ohh God. . .had missed first astro session thanks to work plus some committee meetings as well. . .cursed. . .and tomorrow another meeting in commencing and I had to sit out of it. . .damned. . .wondered did I really keep my word regarding placing astro above others well. . .damned. . .Had wanted to change phone earlier on this month. . .but, Singtel haven't offered 6230i. . .cursed. . .not wanting to jump on it fast, so I stayed away from signing with Starhub and M1. . .hopefully by end of this month, Singtel offers it. . .

Last week, I had a hell of a time, classes starting at 0800 mixed along with night shifts and clashes with Emerge conference which ends even as late as night shifts plus the long trip from Boon Lay back to Ang Mo Kio, ohh man, body really worn out. . .then had been talking for long time on Friday night but forgot to quench my thrist. . .woke up on Saturday with slight sore throat. . .and little did I know that it will develops and almost got fever as well. . .had to miss church servive to grab rest at home. . .stayed up online before slamming panadols down me and slept. . .phew, thank God that I didn't overslept. . .got to work just in time for opening. . .and should have known it better. . .NO BROWNIES WITH MY SORE THROAT! ! ! Crap, that probably worsened it even further. . .got home, simply stoning most of the time. . .not sure what to do. . .not that I don't want to take out my notes to revise but my home is ain't my studyplace. . .it simply sucks as a 'santuary' for studying. . .instead, spent time scouring through anime stuff. . .still pissed with the way Freedom went down at the hands of Shinn. . .duh. . .finally time to sleep. . .ZzZ. . .after endless nagging that is. . .

Actually wanted to update on Monday, after my first day of school. . .but, forgot it somehow and ended up updating now, in the midst of duty of manning booth! ! ! Hahaha. . .well, screwed up timetable I have. . .thought my timetable haven't been up yet, so, went off to get the booth up first. . .finally got booth up, and ohh man, wondered what's happening to me. . .mouth getting dried up fast after speaking to 3 or 4 groups of freshies. . .and what good location we had. . .on my left, Campus Crusade, in front, entreprneurs, back, pipers and guitarlists. . .what good mix of noise pollution I have. . .curses. . .and talking loud ain't my speciality. . .damned, simply made my job even harder. . ..anyway, more or less done. . .next stop was to confirm my timetable. . .cursed, thought could have layed it out myself, but no. . .I got a fixed timetable out. . .which is quite ridiculous in a sense. . .Thursday, on odd weeks, I ending at 1500. . .and a 3 hour break from 1000-1300. . .even weeks? Well, only go for 0800-1000 GEM class. . .and only 1 GEM for me this semester. . .curses. . .and by the time all my timetable shit crap is done. . .its already 1500, 2 more hours, and I gotta head down for work. . .shit crap, before work start, I am alreadt dead beat from the hauling of stuff, walking and 'attracting'. . .then thought it ain't getting worse also. . .thought could have end the night early, but still, 3 guests walked in. . .cursed, which I confirmed, they ain;t leaving till 2230 earliest. . .and true enough. . .they really left at 2230. . .damned. . .0800 classes for me from Monday to Thursday! ! ! If this goes on, my body gonna be in total wreck. . .been setting up booth since then and ohh man, now arms starting to ache a little . . .so far, classes still ok. . .

For tomorrow, wanted to go for sesssion, but damned, somehow, tomorrow, my workplace, about half can't work at night?! Finally approaching school time, and wanted to finish up whatever mess I landed myself into during the past year in the next 2 semesters. . .enough of slacking around. . .probably it was a tumbling year in poly, trouble of forwarding modules probably send shivers down my spine. . .hopefully, with faith and determined mindset that I wanna enplace in me will send me through this coming unscathed against battles with papers. . .yesterday, went back to school to had my timetable sorted out, but goddamned it, they only allowed 100 students to had their timetables sorted out. . .cursed. . .good thing I also had to do some planning on the CCA booth also, or else I would have made a wasted trip. . .forgotten that Geoff gotta finish the banner, so people were in the clubhouse. . .ohh man, this current comm, their usage of the F word is high. . .and even Kenneth (There are 2 Kenneth in the comm. . .) also uses it. . .ohh my. . .probably the sight and actions of Geoof prompts the high output of the word. . .duh. . .anyway, more or less, got an idea what to have for CCA week booth for on the coming Monday. . .

Probably may not be very nice for some. . .but I gonna type it down. . .damned cursed that father of mine. . .for months, I had been quietly enduring his childish rants, acts and ridiculous requests. . .recently, seemed that I had hit my limit. . .probably main difference between me and him is I still have some sense, he doesn't. . .if I was to act solely on my own will, probably he will wake up in a ICU next. . .been wishing to do that, but, probably he got to thank the fact that by name, he is my father, or else. . .I told my bro, "In the future, when you become a father yourself, don't ever repeat whatever shit he done and don't be a FAILURE like him. . ."

Guess what? CHC gonna move to Expo for services come December! ! ! Pastor Kong made the annoucement on Friday's service and wow, can't wait to catch the atmosphere of 7000 capacity services. . .and with that, new building is on the way! ! ! Though time is needed for funding etc. . .

Grr, sleepy. . .been up late recently, obviously, playing with my lappy. . .heh, that's the only possible thing that I do whenever I got freetime at home. . .haiz, its the ending of my 3rd week of vacations, so far, haven't been enjoying myself much except through anime or game. . .no choice, got a new mobile to fund. . .can't wait for end of the month! ! ! Arr. . .now quite sick of slogging like mad now, heh, vacations are meant for time to take a rest from studies, wind up wherever its fine. . .but in my case, haiz. . .average, I have been spending at least 30 hours per week working. . .now thinking of taking a week off before school starts for me to chill. . .

Now engrossed in getting models and making them, just had added 1/100 Sword Strike to accompany Freedom. Spent just 5 hours on Strike. . .no challenge at all, parts aren't that much as what I had with my MG Freedom. . .probably the difference between gradeless and Master Grade. . .and I can't do much pose with the Strike too, joints seems more rigid than Freedom. . .but heck it, at least it can stand and hold the big sword with both hands. . .haha, had tried fitting various weapons between Strike and Freedom. . .lolx. . .once I got a camera, gonna spend time doing poses for them. . .hahaha. . .

Slack for a while more before shower and set off for 9.5 hours of work awaiting me. . .

Been lazy regarding this bloggy of mine. . .heh, got mood and mindset for work and anime, but reagarding thi blog, heh, damned, like what I had done to my studies all these while. . .hmm, results going to released soon, probably ain't expect to do well, afterall, I am reowned for flopping papers now, instead of flying through like what I had in Deyi. . .enough of pathetic studies now. . .grr. . .now day in day oupaycheck awaiting me but then, at what price? Wrecked body? Missed time with friends? Damned. . .t, doing the same things for 6 days now, not that I am complaining, but, somehow, maybe its my body, starting to feel the strains. . .never had been in such schedule which lasts 7 day in a row. . .end of the day, fat pay check, but at what price? Wrecked body? Friends neglected? Damned. . .

Then again, with the fat check, probably I will embark on a wild shopping spree. . .first off with my mobile. . .this 6610 of mine is absolutely crap at times. . .shutting itself down for no apparent reason. . .and being the first generation colour mobile, time has probably call on it already. . .browsed some Nokia mobiles, and found out that 3230, woo, specs looks attractive. . .but the dimensions. . .er. . .heck it. . .that's what I did with my lappy. . .2.8kg for a power packed lappy. . .hehehe, gonna follow that trend for my new mobile as well. . .$598 for that. . .heh, gonna packed my work schedule for that. . .

Argh! ! ! Didn't realized that I haven't been updating for a week?! Woohoo. . .hahaha, had enjoyed the tournament yesterday. . .though we didn't reach the semis but as a whole, we had fun. . .in a group of 8, we got 3rd, won 4, drew once and lost twice. . .scored 10, conceded 6. . .actually, that is quite of a feat, given that its the first time the team played together and we were facing quality opponents. . .wow, cheers 'Arsenal Red'! ! !

As time approaches 1030, our first game. . .tension and excitements building up. . .afterall, in my 18 years of life and nearly a decade of football life, that was my debut tournament. . .soon enough, first game goes. . .against the Newcastle fanclub. . .ohh my, they seemed to be playing like a professional club, got a captain leading warm-ups and a manager there. . .ohh boy, we are in for a good time. . .indeed, we were in for a good time. . .2 goals down, team in a mess, 50-50 balls lost out. . .ended up losing 3-1. . .anyway, no complaints, we were outplayed. . .physically, they got the edge and technically too, afterall, they trained together. . .whereas for us, I suppose its the first time we play together as a team, communication were lacking, so are the passes. . .anyway, it wouldn't badly affect us. . .but for me, I was abit pissed with myself. . .cant do much to pull ourselves together. . .anyway, game end, resting time before next match. . .ohh nice, walkover. . .this team 'One Leg Kicking FC'. . .yah, they got 'One Leg Kicked' out of the tournament. . .got our first 'win'. . .meanwhile we tried to come out with strategy and tactics, 6 games left, chance there to reach top 2. . .but holy shit. . .

Next team we met, Southampton's fan club. . .we started off brightly but somehow luck wasn't on our side. . .I got sandwiched and had to go off to clean up my wound. . .soon after, the Saints break and got a goal. . .against the run of play! ! ! We were doing well, passes reaching the players, more possesion and importantly, more attacking play. . .but again, luck was not with us. . .their lead extended to 2 and dying moments, their 'keeper made a good save off my shot. . .was about to celebrate but his hands managed to parry it out somehow. . .good game for them and us. . .though we resent it later on. . . Again, break time for us to cool down and calm down. . .2L and a W isn't a good start to me. . .still waiting to break my duck. . .seen the French team demolishing teams at will. . .ohh boy, can't imagine that they were in the same group with us. . .anyway, waiting for our next match. . .wow, I am really too outdated for Sentosa. . .seems like its getting more fun and lively now. . .and entrance fee is quite cheap. . .hmm, probably hold an outing there? ? ?

Long time since enjoyed myself in such condition. . .woo. . .ok, next game up. . .ohh man, we started off brightly and I fired in shots after shots, but my vintage finish eluded me. . .but I wasn't ready to throw in the towel. . .finally broke the duck and ohh boy, what a nice feeling it was. . .soon, few more chances to wrap up, but missed. . .and almost costly as well. . .we conceded one near late. . .but somehow, we took the lead and desperate defending finally earned us the victory. . .no time to slack though, French team next. . . As usual, they dominated the proceedings. . .but thanks to our defence, we managed to shut them out and we almost grabbed the lead. . .I fired in a curling shot towards the bottom corner but it got parried out. . .2nd half also began like the first, but we managed to find more space to fire in shots. . .but ended up in a goaless draw. . .one thing though, we stopped the winning run and held them to a goaless draw! ! ! Woohoo! ! !

Haha. . .well, got an long break before next game, head off for lunch. . .and ohh boy, hungry even after gulped down an pack of fried rice. . .anyway, can't eat much, still got games coming up. . . Next up was this team made up of malays and indians. . .as usual, we started off brightly, but somehow, my finishing was off, 2 one on ones were off, and one of them cannon off the post. . .grr. . .good thing that Jeff whacked one in. . .or else I probably wouldn't forgive myself for missing those chances. . .crunch time. . .last game coming up. . .our opponents, apparently, Liverpool fans. . .and they were involved in some ugly scences earlier on. . .hmm, lets mess with their temper. . .true enough, their aggressive ways and temper seemed to paved way for us to have an easy time against them. . .by first half, 2 goals up for us. . .in second, as usual, we started off attacking. . .and damned, brought down hard. . .wanted to tell off that guy but I let it go, we were here for football, not brawl. . .got a freekick as well. . .I placed the ball, looked up at goal. . .soon after, whacked in a thunderbolt. . .sweet, sent that up in the top corner. . .and almost, I suffered recurring cramp in my left calf. . .I was taken off soon after my goal. . .apparently, they thought I was going to blow off. . .never mind, use that time to stretch my calf. . .lolx. . .Aeikost playing. . .hahaha. . .but he almost got a goal. . .wow. . .hahaha. . .soon back into action again, now trying to fend off their attacks to keep a third clean sheet in a row. . .aww. . .almost added a second goal for myself. . .grr. . .but never mind, the 4th goal came soon. . .and referee blew the whistle and as usual, handshakes being exchanged around. . .what a way to end our final game, 4 goals and a clean sheet. . .hehehe. . .

Waited eagerly for the final group standings. . .argh. . .missed out on the second spot. . .but overall, I enjoyed this experience of beach football. . .at last finally got a day to relax out in the sun instead of kept inside my house. . .since we were out, might as well pack up and head off for a well deserved rest. . .showered, bade farewells to my fellow Gunners and went off to fill our stomach. . .got off and Harbourfront, went to dine in at Mac. . .spent the time chatting then ok, road to home. . .argh. . .took bus home. . .and the journey seemed long. . .left Harborfront with skies still blue, reached home with skies dark already. . .ohh, 2030. . .nice. . .hahaha, reached home, both legs limping, sun burnt and extremely tired. . .managed to stuff in food. . .must be really tiring after all these fun out in the sun. . .hahaha. . .now I wished for more tournaments like these. . .hehehe. . .

Finally back here to post. . .actually wanted to post one entry yesterday, but simply too tired and couldn't be bothered then. . .date now is 19 March, holy shit. . .tomorrow gonna be a big day for me. . .playing in a tournament at Sentosa, and I gotta work later on after an overnight observation session at NYP?! Wow, it will be a miracle it I am still intact after tomorrow's tournament. . .

Hmm, papers nearing, gotta start revising or should I say, learning. . .afterall, wondered how many lectures were spent fooling around. . .gonna be a uphill task for electronics and thermofluids, since both are the first papers and importantly, lecturers taught in Greek. . .ZzZ. . .good thing that I stopped gaming for now, but anime heat took over. . .good thing I had Destiny covered, at least watching 1 episode per week for now. . .phewz, and less working days, at least more time there to finish up the loose ends. . .

Regarding to one of the posts inside my cbox. . .hmm, I ain't playing football in campus not in the near future. . .afterall, got free gym to use, I gonna use my long free times on Fridays and Wednesdays to do some workout and 2 rounds of jog around campus perimeter. . .good ways to build up strength and stamina. . .Mondays and Saturdays for football. . .hmm, more or less, an proper schedule. . .

Lastly, got post in the new SP Astro committee, quarter master, responsible for equipment, club property. . .anyway, shall not say more for now. . .now thinking of FO camp. . .haha, gonna have wierd ideas for the camp, now need to get people to help out in planning. . .

Finally back at home. . .ohh man, feels great. . .not because I am back home, but because of the fun I had during the time I spent there. . .though was wet on second day late morning to night throughout, but still, haha, enjoyable. . .

First night, wow, lights out only after 0330 hours. . .lolx. . .had the time from 1930 to then gathering, played some games before forming groups, stashing our stuff into bunk and so forth. . .shouldn't have surrendered my mobile. . .at least I still can dial a coke whenever I want to. . .hmm, let's start from my group. . .called 'Crimson', had our bands in red colour. . .and guess what? ? ? Our group flag was painted in red only! ! ! Simply style! ! ! There were 6 groups, they named themselves 'Pink Panther', 'Ori', 'Morphling', 'Hen Lei' and 'No Idea'. . .lolx. . .wierd names they got. . .Haha. . .later got this game, going around in campus searching for lightsticks and getting out of 'harm's way' at the same time. . .damned, the GPs were so 'timely'. . .popping out from nowhere, and screams followed. . .aww, my eardrums. . .my group went nearly in a circle, wanted to proceed up to childcare, only to find it declared 'danger zone' by GPs. . .then finally it got closed due to the dogs. . .ZzZ. . .we gotta find the lightsticks, avoid the GPs and 'devil' at the same time. . .what happened if bumped onto them? ? ? Haha, good luck, 1 lightstick to be taken plus 2 members to get tied up. . .duh. . .got around the campus, getting out of "harm's way" also, then got a loud scream again, off FC4. . .ZzZ. . .soon after, 'devil' appeared, obviously, we ran off only to have people falling down. . .ZzZ. . .good thing no one got seriously injured. . .but one girl, Pamela, got swollen toe. . .and I think from then on, lolx, the girls started to address him as 'fat devil'. . .lolx. . .then for the next 20 minutes, my group just hanged outside LT18. . .and ohh yah, where's medic. . .seems like there are medical equipment, but no one to apply them properly? ? ? -.- Anyway, not anything serious. . .soon, head back to SAC foyer. . .at last, shower time. . .but its like past 0300 and we are still up. . .ohh boy. . .finally got washed up. . .lolx, almost missed out my conditioner and shower foam. . .lolx. . .finally got them, listened to music for some while before finally hit the sacks. . .and ohh boy, mixed up sleeping bags. . .lolx. . .probably too tired already, cant differtiate other's sleeping bag. . .haha, at last, closed my eyes and head off to dreamland. . .but it aint be good sleeping experience. . .initially used my windbreaker as pillow, but gotta deploy that, getting cold, then just grabbed my jeans and shirt, folded them and used that as my pillow. . .thought end of problems. . .but, ZzZ. . .struggled to get asleep. . .plus the GPs, were annoying. . .creeping in, attempting to steal our flags. . .ZzZ. . .wished that I didn't hand over my mobile. . .damned. . .lastly, managed to get some sleep. . .

I think its already past 0800 when I got up, most of my fellow campers were getting ready to wash up. . .damned, hair got quite messed up, try sleeping with wet hair. . .ZzZ. . .head to clubhouse, woo, scopes back, Geoff was inside, banged the door to get him open. . .haha, very bad. . .but hell if I care. . .wanna ask how was the trip to NTU. . .seemed bad from him. . .left soon after, didn't want to disturb his sleep. . .gathered up in FC5, ready for breakfast, but, as usual, gotta have cheers before eating. . .ZzZ. . .eaten and supposed to be charged up for whole day of activities. . .started off with obstacle course. . .wow, my team got off to a flyer at the first game. . .though got wet and mud on shorts. . .haha, but the second, ZzZ. . .try hockey using cardboards and tennis ball. . .ZzZ. . .can't even whack in a hard grounder. . .lost 5-3. . .ZzZ. . .lastly, went off to final game, stepping on others' balloons while keeping your's intact. . .haha, my team was simply owning. . .haha. . .won the game eventually. . .argh. . .after obstacle course, phewz, approaching lunch time. . .finally some breather. . .food down stomach, stoning time starts. . .watched football at the field before finally report back. . .spent the next hour at least singing camp songs before getting started with the next game. . .'mini-treasure hunt' was next. . .yeah, 'mini' huh, duh. . .we gotta move around to according what the clues described. . .damned, stuck at first stop for like 20 minutes at least, and ohh man, that set our pace for the game. . .moved up and down, left and right. . .ZzZ. . .FC2 to plaza, to basketball court to plaza again, then T3, IDEA centre, T21, childcare centre, T11 before finally hit ending point. . .damned. . .with a hurt teammate, we had to stroll through. . .and wow, despite that, we managed a 3rd place finish. . .cheers! ! ! And holy shit crap, next was simply freezing hell. . .already raining, plus a air-conditioned room. . .ohh man. . .crawl thorugh flooded floor, getting splashed all over. . .damned. . .almost went snapped. . .brr. . .freezing. . .brr. . .went to dry myself with the handdryer. . .but, duh, little help from it. . .dinner was a buffet. . .but, -.- didn't quite filled my stomach. . .almost got a chance to shower, but gotta pushed it back. . .ZzZ. . .moved out to foyer. . .more camp songs to follow. . .lolx. . .fun time there, got this Indian guy, almost getting picked on by the GP. . .haha, no choice only Indian there. . .lolx. . .final game of the camp arrived. . .block catching. . .ZzZ. . .with only 2 blocks to run, how in the hell we evade the GPs? ? ? And my team got off to the worst possible start. . .within minutes, Alicia, who was with me, fell soon after we tried to evade. . .no choice stopped to check up on her, GPs told me to scram. . .ZzZ. . .only 2 blocks to run for, seriously, how in the hell to evade capture? ? ? Duh, got caught. . .sent to this 'dungeon' damned, water again. . .ZzZ. . .got released but damned. . .moment I got out, 4 GPs homed on me. . .try evading. . .unless I got stealth mode. . .ZzZ. . .went in again, but got off soon after, this time got my teammate, and head off to a hiding place which I find it safe. . .guess what, found 2 campers there. . .sneaked in and kept quiet. . .cant stand hiding in, got out, and ohh man, scary, no one in sight except GPs, looking for campers to hunt. . .walked through top levels silently, and when I got down to so call rescue my teammates, guess what, all of them were out. . .ZzZ. . .damned, pissed, back to the hiding spot. . .stayed there till game's officially over. . .guess what? ? ? Those 2 campers I found, didn't get caught at all. . .seems like they headed there right from the start. . .and phewz, the 'dungeon' I had, was spared from touching a skull. . .holy shit, just imagine the girls in my group had a touch of that. . .ohh man. . .thank goodness games over. . .head back. . .thought shower time. . .but GPs got a room designed out as a disco for us. . .but no thanks, it aint my liking. . .rather watch football than clubbing on that moment of time. . .head off to shower. . .wow. . .finally cleaned up after a day of mud, sweat and water. . .stayed in the Aviation clubhouse for a while before listening to some music and finally lights out for me. . .ohh man, hard time sleeping without a proper pillow. . .ended up aching joints later in the morning. . .phewz. . .GPs were going around to do 'make-up' on us, but thank God that I woke up in time when a GP was ready to 'attack' me. . .and I was left alone. . .but seen them going around with some noises. . .ZzZ. . .wondered what time I first opened my eyes. . .others were still soundly asleep except for me. . .finally drifted off to sleep, woken up by noises of waken campers. . .washed up and packed up. . .yeah, ending of camp soon. . .ZzZ. . .last day, still want cheer or greeting? ? ? ZzZ. . .get a life. . .everyone's like high on fatigue levels. . .let alone getting greetings correct with loud voice. . .ZzZ. . .finally caved in, and started on eating. . .lastly, every group gotta perform once before ending the day. . .hahaha, ohh man, one group's performance didn't spared the chairman of this camp. . .lolx. . .a 'Ruhua' among the campers =/. . .photos time before a close camp speech and a dance. . .finally its over! ! ! Woohoo. . .haha, probably think of joining more of such camps. . .haha. . .ohh man, shouldn't have brought extra clothes. . .ZzZ. . .damn the list. . .what a load. . .ZzZ. . .slept on the bus but cant sleep in peace, people around me so damned noisy. . .ZzZ. . .got home, instead of heading to my bed straight, I went to checked up on my download, and wee! ! ! Back from work, aww, joints aching even before I started work. . .hmm, probably had exterted abit too much during football early in the morning. . .Poo Hee asked me to join him and his band friends for football, since its long time I met him, might as well join. . .well, told him that I wanted to warmup early, but duh, made him waiting. . .opps, hehe. . .well, wondered when was the last time I played at the Deyi court. . .seems more mysterious to me now, probably spolit by the court opposite Bishan Park. . .well, gotta see how I adapt to it. . .hmm, weather don't look friendly from the moment I woke up. . .White and dull, signs of dark clouds and possible rain. . .and true enough, it rained. . .as usual, heck weather, play on. . .and ohh, at least didn't have much problems shooting in the smaller Deyi court, at least my shots didn't went flying over the barrier. . .when match got started, ZzZ, its not that I want to bad mouth people, but, damned, those band guys were going for BOTH the ball AND the LEGS. . .at least I didn't erupted after going through these hard kicks and knocks. . .damned, their highly aggressive style is irritating. . .aww my legs -.- didn't have much space also for me to pull my stunts. . .ZzZ. . .then before I can do something, rain came and we have to abandon. . .guess what we did while it was raining out there? ? ? Never appeared. . .hmm, now thinking more on working like what I did while waiting for poly entry. . .vacation's nearing, well, will want to make full use of the time to clock longer working hours. . .probably now I don't mind working 4 days, hmm, cash strapped now. . .gotta pump hours to get extra. . .

And I realised, what the hell was I doing? ? ? I had already lost a friend due to this stupid mindset of mine, and I ain't gonna let it repeat again! ! ! Argh! ! ! Duh. . .then on Sunday night, ZzZ, had keyed in 'Weekday' instead of 'Weekend' ! ! ! Holy SHIT! ! ! But managed to top up the balance. . .phew. . .what was I doing? ? ? Argh. . .

Yesterday, got back marks for electronics. . .guess what? ? ? 11/100 for theory and 32/100 for practical, wow, well done man. . .As time approaches 1700, mind was not in mood for studies. . .wanted to get ready for football straight after school. . .well, got people there already at the court, but never mind, started off to some shots before the guys there got in me into matches. . .wow, now playing more into 'Bergkamp' role. . .Setting up chances instead of finishing them. . .Hmm, think should train more on my passes and awareness. . .hehehe, simply love the way a simple pass cracks open the defence. . .hehehe. . .err, gotta do CAD, signing off now. . .wee, movie after class, and long due. . .hahaha. . .
